Otto’s is a very cozy store located in Burbank, (5 minutes from Los Angeles), California. It is owned by a traditional Hungarian-American family for over 35 years. The family has been in the retail business for several generations stretching across the centuries. Otto’s in the United States was founded in 1969, and has been a central hub for Europeans and Hungarians to shop and to meet in the Southern California area. The store has grown to carry over 3,000 different products. Since there are thousands of Hungarians and European descendants throughout the world. Otto’s has brought the store directly to you via the Internet.

The store was started by Otto Huber and his wife, Irma. Both had a sweet tooth for fine Hungarian food. They started to carry a few Hungarian products for their family and friends. As time progressed, more products were added. A small portion of the store’s inventory are listed here on the Internet. When Otto first purchased the store, it was an old- fashioned corner grocery store. Otto started to carry specialty foods for his family and friends. Soon customers added to the list of requested items. The next generation has joined Otto’s and has placed Otto’s on the Internet in 1993.

Listening to our customers has been a top priority. Today over 37 countries’ products are represented.

When time permits, Otto will pick up his accordion and entertain his customers with polka’s and Hungarian folks music. Come in for a visit, eat a great sandwich and listen to some free entertainment.
